Lynn Pierre Bryner, 80, passed away May 4, 2021 in St. George, Utah.

He was born February 20, 1941in Price, Utah to Lynn Sharp and Marjorie Jeanselme Bryner.  Lynn loved tinkering with his hands, making or fixing all kinds of things: from home remodels and book shelves, to engine repairs—he even learned to sew a little on an antique Singer machine that he had restored. It shined like a brand-new penny. He was so proud of it. He had a lifelong love for tractors. He restored a few old farm tractors. One in particular, was an old Ford, he fixed it like new and drove it in the Melon Days Parade in Green River, Utah.

He started Castle Valley Construction in Price, Utah with his partner Ted Pappas. They worked hard for a number of years. They made roads, dug trenches, laid pavement, cleaned train wrecks—you name it.  He always said he was an “earth mover” by trade.  In the 80’s, he decided to trade the earth moving business for a warmer climate and a new life!

He married Marlynn Bennett Lema, in 1988—his “Marlynnie.” They moved to St. George, Utah and built a life there together over the next 30 years. They worked, played, fished, gambled, and travelled around in the motorhome with Luke (the dog) and the jeep in tow.

Lynn loved people. He never knew a stranger. He always had a way of chatting with you that made you love him, and he had the damndest come backs, it would leave you laughing with tears and happy that you got to visit with him.

We love and will miss you Lynnie, Dad, Uncle, Brother!

A special thank you goes out to Jana Tait and Keri Parker, and all the staff of Beehive homes, along with all the people who cared for him from Zions Way.

Lynn is survived by his children, Carolyn Bryner, Price, Matt (Joanie) Bryner, Gr. Jct, CO., Travis (DeDe) Bryner, Spanish Fork, Dana Lema, San Jose, CA; Nichole Siciliano, Las Vegas, NV; sister, Jackie (Dan) Oman, Price; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his beloved nieces and nephews.
