
Kelly Casper Taylor, age 62, passed away May 21, 2021 in Price.
He was born May 17, 1959 in Provo, Utah to Mark and Marva Hardy Taylor.
Married Cheyenne Jones on December 6, 1980 in Castle Dale, Utah. Together they had two daughters, Kortnie and Ivy. They later divorced.
Married Jody Meeks on November 9, 2013.
Kelly was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints. He worked in the coal mines for 44 years. He loved building and flying model airplanes. Kelly loved boating, water skiing, fishing and playing horse shoes. He also loved riding his motor cycle and was a natural self-made mechanic that could fix anything and loved doing it. Kelly was a man with great leadership abilities and enjoyed the relationship with his crew and anyone who worked with him. He was known by all his crew and all those who ever worked with him to be a kind and caring teacher and mentor. He was well thought of by all who worked with him and knew that he loved sharing his talents, knowledge and skills with them. He was a member of the Mine Rescue Team at Tower for five years. Kelly is loved by all his family and friends and his passing has left a very large emptiness in our lives.
Survived by his wife, Jody Taylor; daughters, Kortnie Taylor, Helper, Ivy (Chad) Allen, Castle Dale; mother, Marva Hardy Anderson; grandchildren, Deidre, Corwin, Caleb, Jack, Shylee Gene, Xandon, Navy, Roman and Axel.
Preceded in death by his sister, Tonja Shortridge.
