Irene Zamantakis, age 67, of Price, UT passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 1, 2021.
Irene was born to George and Eleanor Zamantakis on August 29th, 1953. She grew up in Helper and loved the Price and Helper area so much that she continued to live there the rest of her life. Irene was an avid Nascar fan, and she loved to crochet and would often gift hand made blankets to family and friends.
Irene is survived by her son Greg Morrison of Dallas Georgia, daughter Jennifer Morrison of Green River Wyoming, grandsons Jason Morrison, Levi Sailors, and Alex Sailors, granddaughter Mya Bangert, brother Steve Zamantakis, sisters Lisa Critchlow and Georgeann Anderson, and many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Eleanor Zamantakis, and grandparents Steve M and Irene K Zamantakis, and Frank and Lottie Kurowski.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 9, 2021 11:00 a.m. at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Price. Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Wednesday from 9:30-10:30am. Interment will be in the Mt. View Cemetery in Helper.
