Elizabeth Ann Wilstead Olsen, age 77, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Heber on September 2, 2021.

She was born August 28, 1944 in Standardville, Utah to Freddie Alma and Isabel Irene Phelps Wilstead.  On February 8, 1963, she married Leland Charles Olsen in Lawrence, Utah; their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on September 29, 1984.  He preceded her in death on November 27, 1987.

Ann was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she enjoyed her callings.  She was an excellent seamstress and homemaker who loved caring for her family.  Ann was a very competive card shark whose fondest memories were those shared over a friendly game of cards or Pinochle.  She will be dearly missed by her family and many longtime friends.

She is survived by her children, Monty (Heidi) Olsen, Payson, UT., Chris (Jan) Olsen, Lawrence, UT., Andy Olsen, Denver, CO., Sonny Olsen, Woodland Hills, UT., Katy (Ryan) Sweat, Heber, UT; brother, Dean Wilstead, Bountiful, UT; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Olsen; parents; and brothers, Eroll and David Wilstead.

Funeral service, Thursday, September 9, 2021, 11:00 a.m., Huntington First Ward Chapel (115 South 400 East) in Huntington where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m.  Burial will be in the Huntington City Cemetery.   Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
