Three Carbon Dino Football players were named to the 3A all-state teams that are voted on by coaches throughout the classification, and then published by the Deseret News. Offensive tackle Derick Ehler, linebacker and wide-receiver Will Carmichael and safety Mason Vasquez were given the honor.

Both Ehler and Carmichael were named to the second team.  Ehler a 6’3″ 220 pound senior was an anchor on the offensive line, while Carmichael was a two-way player who shined no matter what position he played. On offense he went for 472 yards and three scores and on the defensive side had was credited with 64 tackles, one interception and three forced fumbles with one recovery.

Mason Vasquez, a 5″9′ sophomore was given an honorable mention for 32 solo tackles and two interceptions returned for 37 yards.
