
Lifelong resident of Carbon County, Marianne Anderson Bennett, age 86, returned home January 7, 2022.
She was born July 18, 1935 in Price, Utah to Lamar and Thelma Mathis Jewkes. Married Lawrence A. Anderson in 1953 and was later sealed in the Manti Temple. Lawrence passed away in 1994. Later married Lynn Bennett in 1997 in Manti, Utah. Lynn preceded her in death in 2004.
Marianne was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Daughters of Utah Pioneers and Relief Society. She enjoyed making quilts, visiting with family and friends, camping, family dinners, spending time at the Carbon County Senior Citizens Center, dancing, and gardening. She loved all animals and little children.
Preceded in death by her parents, brother, Joseph Jewkes; sister-in-law, Karen Jewkes; sister, Carolyn Watkins Sherril; and her spouses, Lawrence Anderson and Lynn Bennett.
She is survived by her daughter, Laurel (Ralph) Ramstetter, Carlsbad, NM; sons, Wayne; Price, UT, Brent (Debbie) Anderson, Helper, UT; Bennett children, Linda (Delbert) Beal, Price, UT, Robert (Joy) Bennett, Hamilton, MT, Barry (Christine) Bennett, Idaho Falls, ID, Harold (Barbara) Bennett, Green River, WY, Ann (Eugene) Dearden; IN; 28 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren
The family would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to the staff at the Heirloom Inn, Dr. Sterling Potter, Mitchell’s Mortuary and a special thanks to the CNS Hospice team, led by Autumn, who helped with Mom’s peaceful exit from this world into the next. Funeral service, Tuesday, January 11, 2022, 11:00 a.m., Helper Stake Center with a visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery in Helper, Utah.
