Theora Worley, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 in Price, Utah at the young age of 96.

She was born September 14, 1925 in Desert Lake, Utah to Clarence and Luella Davis Pilling. She was the oldest of four children. They moved to The Big Spring Ranch in 1928 and then to Price in 1931. She graduated from Carbon High School in 1944. She married Mac Worley on October 14, 1944 in California while he was serving in the military. Together they had four children, Pat, Jim, Ann and Mike.

In 1967, she began working for Walker Bank and continued working in the banking industry for 20 years.

First and foremost, mom loved her family and her home. She took great pride in keeping up her home and beautiful yard. She loved spending time with family every chance she got, even if it was just talking on the phone. Mom was thrilled with every visitor that showed up at her door and every phone call she received; she could talk for hours. Theora loved decorating for holidays, and her Christmas tree was always show-worthy. She gave her whole heart in everything she did and had a special place in her heart for animals.

Mom’s knowledge of history and genealogy was extensive. She was happy to share that knowledge and her collection of pictures and memorabilia with anybody that was interested. She was especially proud of the history and memorabilia of the Pilling Modern Dairy.

Mom was the heart of the family and did her best to keep everyone connected. She will be missed beyond measure.

She is survived by her children, Pat (Joyce) Worley, Jim Worley, Ann (Rick) Prazen and Mike Worley; six grandchildren, Jason (Deb) Worley, Jill (Monte) Worley Jensen, Amy (Marty) Burrows Olson, Emily Burrows Kosmack, Tommy (Heather) Burrows and Christen Worley Anderson; 14 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ardath Anderson; sister-in-law, Joan Pilling; and an extended family of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.

Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leon (Sue) Pilling, Bud Pilling; and a brother-in-law, Ray Anderson.

The family wishes to thank the staffs of the Heirloom Inn and Symbii Home Health, along with the doctors and nurses who showed such compassion and love to our mom.
