The Castle Country Pregnancy Resource Center is hosting their Second Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, June 10 at 8:00 am at the Carbon Country Club. Tournament officials will be closing the registration on Tuesday, June 7 at 10:00 am. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Director, Nikki Jeffs to discuss all the details.

“It will be held on June 10, we’ll start at 8:00 am, although we’re asking everybody to be there about 7:45 am just to check-in and get everything situated. It’s $200.00 for a four-man team, and we’ll also be selling mulligans,” stated Jeffs. All the proceeds earned from the event are to help the Castle Country Pregnancy Resource Center with their services.

“Castle Country Pregnancy Resource Center is a faith-based organization. We are 100 percent donor driven, meaning we don’t get funding from any other source. We’re there mostly for crisis pregnancy situations, where if women come in and they need support, they need encouragement, they need education on how to do this parenting and pregnancy thing, we’re there to give them that support,” explained Jeffs. Some of the services offered through Castle Country Pregnancy Resource Center is pregnancy tests, peer counseling, child development lessons, parenting lessons, and father mentoring.

Because they are a non-profit organization, they rely heavily on donations whether that’s monetary or materials/supplies for their in-house store. “The best thing to do is to come during business hours and drop off the supplies, whatever it is that they want to donate. We take anything from diapers, wipes, formula – which is a hard thing to get right now. We also take gently used or new baby clothing, towels, and bathtubs. If it goes for a baby, we’ll take it,” said Jeffs. The Castle Country Pregnancy Resource Center is located at 836 East 100 North, Suite 5 in Price.
