The Pinnacle Panthers will play host to their second annual summer basketball camp for youth in grades three through 12 beginning Monday at the school’s gym.

Led by boy’s basketball coach Ray Jones and girl’s coach Mark Stuckenschneider, the summer camps will offer youth four days of instruction at minimal cost. Each day will feature a minimum of two hours worth of instruction.

“We want to eliminate every obstacle possible for the kids who are interested,” said Jones. “One thing successful programs do is start team building early. Even though we have two other high schools, we want to develop the talent we have early between all the schools in the area.”

The first session will be for kids in grades third, fourth and fifth. This camp will run July 11 through the 15 beginning at 8:00-10:00 a.m. all four days. The cost will be $10.00 for each participant.

The second session will be geared towards middle school kids in grades six-through-eight. The camp will run the same four days from 11:00-1:00 p.m.. The cost will be $15.00.

The third camp is geared towards high school kids ages freshman to senior, running from 3:00-6:00 p.m.. The cost is $25.00 per player.

Each camper will receive a t-shirt. Those interested in signing up or learning more on the camps can contact Jones by email at jonesr@pantheremail.com or Stuckenschneider at marks@panthersemail.com.
