This week’s Culture Connection will be held on July 28 at 7:00 pm at the Price City Peace Garden and will feature local performers. Olson Entertainment stopped by Castle Country Radio to discuss all the details.
“We’re really excited to have Jack Albahore come and perform from Helper. As well as For the Love of Broadway. Just to kind of list off who is going to be performing For the Love of Broadway it’s Angela Murray, Joy Frandsen, Robbie Donaldson, Evan Sorenson, Liz Davis, Celeste Sorenson, Chalise Watson, and Michelle Broadhead,” said Laura Olson. The entertainers are all from the local area and looking forward to performing for the home crowd.
Albahore is a local favorite and will be performing alternative rock for guests. “So he’s going to take the stage at 7:00 pm and then we’re going to have a quick set change, its shouldn’t take very long. Then have For the Love of Broadway perform around 8:15 pm to 8:30 pm,” stated Laura Olson. For the Love of Broadway will perform various Broadway hits that everyone is sure to know and love.
Price City is currently working on chip seal projects around town so parking will be limited due to construction equipment and materials located in the museum parking lot. Guests are urged to use legal parking where it is available near the Peace Garden.
The following week on August 4, Culture Connection will kick off the annual Price City International Days celebration. “So this is going to be a really fun one, we have a band from Salt Lake coming called Give Me Rent, they’re like a rock band. Then we have Route 89 coming in,” said Laura Olson. There will be opening ceremonies conducted before the bands take the stage on this evening.
The outdoor summer concerts are a great way to unwind from the hustle and bustle of a busy work week. Spectators are reminded to bring their lawn chairs and blankets as they find a spot to sit and enjoy the band. Remember to invite family members, friends and neighbors out for an entertaining evening at the Price City Peace Garden on Main Street.
