The annual Utah’s Christmas Town Christmas Craft Fair will be held on Friday, Nov. 18 and Saturday, Nov. 19 inside the Helper Civic Auditorium. Castle Country Radio was able to speak over the telephone with Event Representative, Kari Richardson to get all the details for radio listeners.
This is the kick-off to this year’s Utah Christmas Town celebration and what a way to do so by offering an opportunity to purchase several unique Christmas gift ideas from local crafters. “The event starts Friday, this Friday, Nov. 18 and it will go from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and then it will continue on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. We’ve got entertainment showing up both days, our booths are full, we’ve got a lot of new vendors this year, so we’re super excited about that. Yea, we’re ready to go,” stated Richardson. This will be a great opportunity to do some holiday shopping.
“We have food vendors; we do have a kitchen that will be open that will be serving food both days. I know we have goody booths, we have home décor, we have homemade crafts, homemade goodies, we have clothing, Christmas gifts, and crochet items. I mean, there’s just a little bit of everything. I think we may have some vintage antique items,” explained Richardson. There is sure to be something to appeal to everyone for the Christmas holiday gift-giving season.
Not only will guests get to enjoy some Christmas shopping but there will be live entertainment too. “We have some of local school groups will be there from Helper. We have choir groups, we have piano, we have dance, we have a little bit of cheerleading. We’ll have the high school cheerleaders; we’ve got groups from the area that compete that will be performing for us. We also have like the Miss Carbon County, Utah’s Outstanding Teen, and we’ll also have Emery County Royalty getting involved this year so it will be lots of fun,” stated Richardson. The entertainment will perform throughout the Craft Fair both days on the auditorium stage.
This is a great way to start of your holiday shopping. “That’s what craft fairs are good for because you get those really unique, one of a kind, items for those hard to buy for people,” said Richardson. Again, the Christmas Craft Fair will take place at the Helper Auditorium on Friday, Nov. 18 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and then on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
