The Price City Youth Council is hosting their Third Annual Easter Egg Hunt for children in the community. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with members of the Youth Council to get all the details on how community members can participate.

The Youth Council have been busy this year with meetings and organizing community events. “We’ve had a great year this year, with a lot of fun events that we’ve been able to have and have people come out for. We had the Fall Festival and we’ve had parades. It’s been great,” said Maddie Criddle. The next big thing taking place for the group is their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8.

The Annual Easter Egg is open to all children 12 and under in the Castle Country area. “Our Third Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt is on April 8 at 11:00 am at Washington Park, and we’re splitting it into age groups from 0 to 3, 4 to 6, 7 to 9 and 10 to 12,” said Tadge Noyes. The park will  be sectioned off for each age group and that is where the children will go to hunt for Easter eggs.

The Youth Council will be hosting their elections for next year’s council so if you are a high schooler that would like to be part of this group you can apply. There Price City Youth Group does many things for the city and its residents all year long. “So the Price City Youth Council’s mission is to get youth out involved in our community. That could mean just our council going out doing service projects, and helping people around the community, but a lot of the time it means people in our community coming to our events and just having something to do in their free time, to get them out of their house, and involved into the community,” said Criddle. The Price City Youth Council applications are available at the high school or Price City Hall.
