Ella Mareice McKendrick, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2023 at Good Life Senior Living in Elmo, at the age of 92.

She was born April 12, 1931 in Price, Utah to Margorie Warren.  Ella married Oscar Leland McKendrick on April 17, 1948 in Price, Utah.  He preceded her in death on December 23, 2009.

Ella became a hairdresser in her younger years.  She worked in Helper for Smiley’s Beauty Shop, the Risque, and was the owner of Reflections Beauty Salon for a brief time.  Ella loved the little children at her church and she especially loved working with them.

She is survived by two children, John (Helen) McKendrick, Linda (Jerry) Yeager; 4 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Ella is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Leland McKendrick; and her daughter, Sherry Ann McKendrick.

Graveside services will be held at Mt. View Cemetery in Helper on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., where she will be laid to rest next to her loving husband.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are welcome to share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
