The Price Chapel would like to invite children to their annual Vacation Bible School scheduled for Monday, June 5 through Friday, June 9 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at the chapel located at 611 West Price River Drive.
Each year Price Chapel hosts a Vacation Bible School to kick off the summer for children in the Castle Country area. “So the theme this year is called Stellar – Shine Jesus’ Light. So our building will be transformed, so the kids will be entering a world of space themed, with astronauts and the space station, mars, lightsabers, and planets. Its going to be a really fun environment for this week of, we call Vacation Bible School is basically like a kids camp, from June 5 through June 9,” stated Paster Steve Swinburne. Registration is currently open and there is a small suggested donation of $10.00 per child to help cover expenses of the camp, but if you are unable to pay this amount your child is still invited to participate.
The kids will have fun and exciting activities can be enjoyed each day. “During the day the kids all start together in a big group, and then they rotate through stations. They have a Bible Adventure Station, they have one called Kid Vid-Cinema, they have another one called Imagination Station, they do some science like experiments, they have a Game Station, and a Snack Station, they sing songs. We have an amazing group of about 50 plus volunteers, adults and youth that help run it and make sure that it’s a safe place for your kids to be,” explained Pastor Swinburne. The Vacation Bible School is open to all children ages 3 years and potty trained to fifth grade.
