Our loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt, Jodi Deanne Meeks Taylor, passed away at Castleview Hospital on June 4, 2023. She was 58.

She was born January 1, 1965 to Joseph Lee and Dorothy Lorraine Barker Meeks. Married Kelly Casper Taylor on November 9, 2013. He preceded her in death on May 21, 2021.

Jodi loved to cook and spend time with her family. She enjoyed being in the garden surrounded by flowers and in a boat on the lake. Jodi is a graduate of Carbon High School, and she also attended culinary school while residing in Kentucky.

She will be deeply missed by her family and a community of friends.

Jodi is survived by her mother, Lorraine Gentry; siblings, Shauna (Mike) Bracken, Rock Springs, Wyoming, Chad Meeks, Montrose, Colorado, Francine (Sean) Karakachos, Mt. Zion, Illinois; Chris Des Sandoval, Price, Utah; two step-daughters, Kortnie and Ivy Taylor; and her beloved grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her father, Joe Meeks; and husband, Kelly Taylor.

Celebration of life, Friday, June 9, 2023, 2:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
