The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for their June luncheon on Thursday, June 15 at 12:00 pm at the Washington Park Pavilion in Price. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Executive Director, Barbie Haeck to get all the details.

“We just came off of our successful Casino Night Fundraiser, we made more money again this year, than we did last year, and that’s our goal every year. It was terrific. We really appreciate the community support,” said Haeck. The next huge event the Chamber of Commerce will host is their annual Golf Tournament scheduled to take place on October 6 and October 7 at the Carbon Country Club course. More details will be shared as they become available and closer to the event.

This month’s theme is picnic style at Washington Park for June’s Luncheon event.  “Chad Bishoff of Zions Bank is going to be our guest speaker and he’ll be talking about Business Fraud. The luncheon is going to be catered by Getting’ Our Smoke On and we’re going to be at the Washington Park pavilion right there beside the Desert Wave Pool. The Spotlights this month are SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western, and Friar Tucks Barber Shop. If you don’t know Kylee Howell you should really come out and meet her, she’s terrific,” said Haeck. The Community Spotlight is the Peer Support Fundraiser that is held every summer.
