Soccer season is almost a month old and the Dinos have made their way through the pre-season and are into the region part of the schedule.  Tuesday they traveled to Nephi to face new Region 12 member Juab, returning home with the 4-0 shutout victory.

The season started back on August 3, and next week will get our first peek at the RPI on August 31. The RPI will then be updated after every game until the end of the season with the final numbers used for placement in the state tournament.

The Dinos came out in the first half finding the back of the net twice carrying a 2-0 lead into the locker room. Coming out in the second half Carbon put two more in between the pipes taking the 4-0 region win.

Amiah Timothy had another hat trick, her second of the season, Blythe Bradford had the other goal in the game. Ada Bradford and Jenna Jeffery each had an assist in the win.

Fortune Ward was in goal and earned her third shutout of the season.

The Dinos are now 3-2 overall and 2-1 in region play, and this Thursday will face the Delta Rabbits at home.

The contest with the Rabbits will take place at 4:00 p.m.,  on the soccer field at Carbon High School.
