On September 13, 2023 Raymond Migliori, 77, Price, Utah completed his earthly assignment and was welcomed home into the arms and embrace of many dear family members and friends he looked forward to seeing once again.
He was born on March 21, 1946 to Virginia Nielsen and Atelee Migliori in Price, Utah. Living in a family of 11 children, Ray learned many useful skills and shared many enjoyable hours with his brothers and sisters. He had especially fond memories of his family spending time at their cabins at Ferron Reservoir and Scofield Reservoir. At his house there was never a dull moment. His childhood was full of adventures with his siblings.
Ray was a lifelong learner. He graduated from Carbon High School, class of 1964, USU Eastern, and Brigham Young University. He found the most delight in studying gospel topics throughout his life.
As an older teen, he spent two summers working at Yellowstone National Park and could tell many stories of his experiences, including bear encounters. One of those summers he was on the fire brigade and the hot shot fire detail.
Ray served in the military and was proud to serve the country he loved. He served in Battery, Field Artillery Air Defense.
When, as a student at USU Eastern, he met Kathryn Burdick. In their 53-year marriage, they were blessed with six children, 22 grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. He took pride in his family and always prayed for and wished the best for each of them. He worked hard throughout his life spending many hours each week to provide for and take care of those special loved ones in his life.
He worked in retail all of his adult life and met many people he considered his friends. He liked working with the public because of the interesting people he would meet.
Ray had a spiritual dimension to his life that drove him to strive to be a student and follower of Jesus Christ. His faith was a core part of who he was.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; daughters, Ramie (Dennis) Oakley, Spanish Fork, Utah, Angela (Kevin) Evans, Layton, Utah; sons, Ethan (Heidi), Ferron, Utah, Jesse, Perry, Utah, Jonathan (Kasey) Ogden, Utah, and Joshua, Price, Utah; sisters, Karen, Aleta, and Ann; brother, Atelee; 21 grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends not mentioned but dear to his heart.
