Lady Spartan tennis welcomed Richfield to Castle Dale, with just two meets left until tournament time, Emery needed to put their best foot forward, but that didn’t happen as the Wildcats won all six matches.

Emery faces off with Canyon View and North Sanpete before the Region 12 tournament on September 26 and 27, in Mount Pleasant.

Richfield came to town and claimed victory in every match with the Lady Spartans, in fact only one match went more than two sets, the 3rd doubles match. Taya Cowley and Tatum Jensen pushed Richfield’s Gracy Peterson and Katherine Reese to three sets 3-6, 6-2, and 6-1.

On September 21, Emery will celebrate seniors when North Sanpete comes to town for the final home match of the season.
