Golfers from around Region 12 came to MillSite Golf Course, home of the Emery Spartans. The region is a little different this year with the realignment, and Juab has crashed the party this season and has come to play, taking the top spot at Millsite with a 313.

With the Wasps taking first, Richfield took second with a 315. Carbon landed in third with 321. Delta was in fourth with 329 edging out the Spartans who landed in fifth with 330.

The Dinos Dayton King earned the top individual finish with a 71. Juab’s Kauner Kay was right behind with a 72. Pace Mullen from Richfield had a 76. Carbon’s Rydge Butler led a group of four golfers that all shot a 77.

For the Spartans, Dempsey Toomer had the low round of 80. Joey Leonard and Alex Hansen both shot an 83 and Champ Justice rounded out the top four scorers with an 84.

For the Dinos, behind King and Butler, Kyler Clark carded an 86, and Cole Callahan an 87.

Only three more tournaments before we get to the State Tournament on October 11-12 at Meadow Brook in Taylorsville.

This week both teams will travel to Cedar City as Canyon View welcomes the region to town.
