The Lady Spartans have been sitting close to or on top of the 3A RPI since it was originally released in September. On Tuesday they were in Cedar City to face Canyon View the No. 3 team in 3A. Emery made quick work of the Falcons earning a straight set win.

Emery came out in the first set rolling taking the 25-14 win over Canyon View. In set number two it was a little more competitive however the Lady Spartans still found the 25-17 victory. The third set was contested as well, but the Spartans still pushed through for the 25-22 victory earning the 3-0 match win.

The Lady Spartans move to 23-4 overall with a 9-3 Region 12 mark, they also sit atop 3A with the No.1 spot in the RPI.

Thursday they will welcome in the Dinos for “Senior Night”. The Dinos come in with an 18-5 overall record and an identical 9-3 region mark. Carbon fell to the Manti Templars on Tuesday dropping them out of the top spot to No.2.

The match is set to begin at 6:30 p.m., at the Spartan Center in Castle Dale.
