Debbie Lynn Kirkwood, age 67, passed away December 17, 2023 at her home in Price. She was born March 15, 1956 in Dragerton, Utah to Ernest Hight and Betty Lou Bezyack. She married Joseph Wesly Melo on December 24, 1972 in Spring Glen, Utah, he preceded her in death on December 25, 1995. She later married Earl Kirkwood on August 13, 1998 in Delta, Colorado, Earl preceded her in death on May 25, 2015. Throughout her life, she enjoyed helping people in need as an EMT in Moab. She also had a great passion for animals and loved riding horses and motorcycles. Above all, she truly treasured spending time with her friends and family.

Debbie is survived by her children, Erni Jo (Jim) Jones, Grand Junction, CO, Samantha Melo, Price, UT, and Joseph Melo, Price, UT; along with her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Betty; husband, Joseph Wesly Melo, and husband, Earl Kirkwood.

Funeral service will be Thursday, December 21, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main St. Price, UT) where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow in the Price City Cemetery.
