Richard Tyrone Stephenson, age 58, born in Honolulu Hawaii residing in Price UT, passed away peacefully December 22, 2023 at Utah Valley Hospital due to complications of cancer.

Richard had a love for the mountains, trucks, good food, and most of all his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending his free time hunting and fishing at his mountain property in Argyle Canyon.He was an excellent businessman, running multiple successful businesses, with his biggest
accomplishment being Stephenson Metal Recycling. One of Richard’s favorite activities was sharing his love of the outdoors with his grandchildren. He was best buddies and business partners with his dad for his entire life, and they enjoyed collecting antique trucks together.

He is survived by his partner Laurie Pyne, his four children Angela Chantrill, Cassy (Bert) Nielsen, Austin Ivie, and Bailey (Roston) Byram, both of his parents, Reggie (Diane Rollins) Stephenson and Georgia (Jag Kudale) Clark, his brothers Robert (Diana) Stephenson and Roger Stephenson, and his four grandchildren.

Richard’s wishes were for cremation and a celebration of life later this spring at his mountain property.
