Clair Wallace Cratsenburg, age 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 31, 2023.

Clair was born on May 11, 1948 in Alma, Michigan to Wallace and Dorthy Monroe Cratsenburg.

Graduated from Alma High School in 1966. Following graduation, Clair enlisted in the United States Navy and served Honorably for his Country. Coming home from the service Clair later met Gladys Lee Black and they were married on June 3, 2000 in Huntington, Utah.

Clair was a man of many talents. In his earlier years, he worked for Huntington City in the Maintenance Department. He then later went to work in the Deer Creek coal mine as a coal miner and remained there until his retirement in 2002 after working 23 years. Clair was a member of the United Mine Workers of America and enjoyed the relationships that he had made over the years in the mine. Following his retirement, Clair went back to school and obtained his Associate of Science Degree in Welding from the College of Eastern Utah in 2003.

Clair enjoyed tinkering around with anything and everything. He found any excuse to work in his shop. He loved the outdoors, going to yard sales, making homemade pies from scratch, riding his motorcycles, going out to the family farm, and working many long hours on the cabin. Clair had patience of a saint.
