Carbon and Emery girl’s wrestling traveled to Castle Dale for the Divisional matches. The Dinos will send 13 and the Spartans one.

Any wrestler that finished in the top eight qualified for the State Tournament, that will be held on February 14 & 15 in Orem at Utah Valley University.

Brookleigh Unsworth in the 120-pound class wrestled her way to a 3-2 record finishing in fifth. Fortune Ward at 135 went 2-1 end her day in second. Jenna Pulsipher at 170 and Madison Arroyo at 190 each finished at 2-1 and earned a third-place finish in their respective weight classes.

Dazi Thatcher, Emery High’s only female wrestler, who wrestles at 190 and trains with the Lady Dinos, finished the day 1-3 and earned a sixth-place finish.

The Lady Dinos and Lady Spartans will take part in the State Tournament on February 16 & 17, in Richfield.
