The Price Chapel would like to invite children to their annual Vacation Bible School scheduled for Monday, Jun. 3 through Friday, Jun. 7 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at the chapel located at 611 West Price River Drive. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Pastor Steve Swinburne to get all the details.

“I think we’ve been doing vacation bible school for at least 30 years or longer at Price Chapel, so it’s a big deal. If you’re listening and you have no idea what vacation bible school its like a kid’s summer camp but it’s Jesus and Bible focused,” said Pastor Swinburne. Registration is currently open and there is a small suggested donation of $10.00 per child to help cover expenses of the camp. This is open to children pre-school potty trained through fifth grade.

The kids will have fun and enjoy exciting activities geared around this year’s vacation bible school summer theme. “Scuba Diving into Friendship with God; so every year our people at Price Chapel go nuts with the decorations, just beyond and above. So these kids are going to have this experience like they’re underwater with fish and sharks. There’s going to be one room that you’re going to feel like you’re inside a submarine. So it’s just going to be a great environment for the kids to learn,” stated Pastor Swinburne. This is a great way for children to meet new friends, play creative games, enjoy delicious snacks and listen to great music.

Parents interested in sending their child to Vacation Bible School can register their child online at https://pricechapel.org/ “We have lots of volunteers, about 60 volunteers it takes to run VBS, we usually have about 120 kids that are part of it. You can register at https://pricechapel.org/” If your child is unable to attend Vacation Bible School but your family is interested in attending regular worship services, they can do so on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am and 11:00 am.
