The season for the Carbon Dino soccer squad ended in May, and on Tuesday the Deseret News announced the All-State Honors for the 2024 season. Four members of the Carbon Dinos were recognized for their efforts on the soccer field.  The 3A-All State selections were voted on by the coaches throughout the classification and then published by the Deseret News.

Carbon entered postseason play owning the No. 4 spot in the final RPI of the season, finishing with a 13-3 record, going 12-2 in Region 12 play with the pair of region losses coming at the hands of state runner-up Manti. Region 12 was a tough place to play with 50% of the RPI calling the region home. After earning a first-round bye, the Dinos faced Union in round two earning a 3-1 win, however their season came to an end in the quarterfinal round with a loss to Juab, 2-0.

Tyler Morris, a junior midfielder for the Dinos, earned first-team honors putting up 13 goals this season to go along with eight assists, this is his second nod as he earned an Honorable Mention last season. Sam Dart, a junior defender, was also given a first-team nod, collecting one goal and two assists, and he could defend anyone in his space.

Two more Dino juniors were given Honorable Mention status, Logan McEvoy a forward who collected eight goals and 10 assists this season, and Cannon Mortensen earned a nod for his work between the pipes gathering 4.5 shutouts.

Two players from the Ogden Tigers received top honors in 3A. Lincoln Barnes, a senior defender, was named Player of the Year for the classification, while Ben Points, a senior forward for the Tigers, was awarded Playoff MVP.
