
On the night of Tuesday, July 30, multiple officers responded to a situation that ended in the shooting death of a 31-year-old man in Price, Utah according to a news release from the Department of Public Safety State Bureau of Investigations.
According to the release, at approximately 11:36 p.m. officers from Price City Police Department, Helper Police Department and the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office were called out to respond to a domestic violence incident. While attending to this incident, multiple officers ended up being involved in the shooting, resulting in the death of the 31-year-old.
“We understand the gravity of this situation and are committed to transparency and thoroughness throughout the investigative process. The safety and well-being of our community and our officers are our highest priorities,” the release said.
The incident is currently under investigation by the State Bureau of Investigations, with updates to come as they become available.
