Jenai Lee Howard, 57, of Libby, Montana, transitioned peacefully from this world on September 2, 2024.

Born on March 4, 1967, in Libby, Montana, Jenai was the cherished daughter of Harvey “Pete” Howard and Darlene Carlson Howard. Jenai lived her life deeply connected to the land and the legacy of her father, tending to the gardens and flowers with the same care and dedication that he once did. The home her father built with his own hands became her sanctuary, where she cultivated not only plants but also a profound sense of love and warmth that touched everyone who knew her. Her gardens, grown with love and nurtured by the wisdom passed down from her parents, were a testament to her gentle spirit and her passion for creating beauty in the world. Jenai’s life was a continuous expression of love, whether through her gardening, her cooking, or her dream of starting a company called “Made with Love.” Her every action was a reflection of her deep commitment to infusing love into everything she did.

“Love doesn’t diminish; it only grows stronger. It carries on in the hearts of those who receive it and blooms in the lives it touches.” Jenai’s love will continue to grow and thrive in the memories of those she left behind, a living legacy that will never fade.

Jenai is survived by her lifelong partner, Harold; her children, Matthew, Heather, and Daniel; and her beloved grandchildren, Jaxton, Aiden, and Carl. She is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and dear friends, all of whom were touched by her kindness and love.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Darlene and Harvey “Pete;” brothers, Matthew, Eric, and John; grandchild, Jayden.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Jenai online at www.mitchelfuneralhome.net.
