This Summer has been one of giving for Eastern Utah Community Credit Union. Whether it be pool parties, scholarships or now a barbecue one thing is certain, EUCCU loves to celebrate its customers. Castle Country Radio sat down with Dallan Ward from EUCCU to talk about the upcoming BBQ on Sept. 20, as well as the importance of giving back to the community.
The first question we asked Ward was how customers can participate in this event,” just a show up the day of the event.” Ward continued into the specifics,” We’re having it this Friday the 20th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We’re serving hot dogs and hamburgers to all of our members that come in.”
Also as a part of this celebration, EUCCU will be giving away a national park pass. And with so many natural wonders to explore in Utah, this is sure to entice some members. “We’re going to have some member surveys that our members will be able to fill out and be entered to win the pass during the barbecue.”
Ward then pivoted onto the topic of giving back to the community,” the community gives us so much. They’re who keep us in business. We’re a credit union, so we’re member-owned. So really, if you’re a member there, you own a stake in our branch. So we like to give back to the people who keep us in business.” Ward further explained,” Our member relationship is huge. I mean, we really do love and appreciate our members, and we appreciate them wanting to do business with Eastern Utah Community Credit Union. We want them to tell their friends and family all about us so that we can help them as well.”
EUCCU’s Member Appreciation BBQ will be held on Friday, Sept. 20 starting at 11 a.m. and running until 2 p.m. at the credit union’s Price branch located at 675 East 100 North. For more information on EUCCU, you can visit the credit union’s website or Facebook page.
