Castle Country Radio would like to give voters a chance to get to know their candidates through a series of Meet the Candidates gatherings every Tuesday evening at 5:00 pm during the month of October on Utah State University Eastern campus. The Q&A event features candidates that will be on the general ballot on November 6. These sessions have proven to be a great opportunity for voters to really get to know their candidates.

This is the last and final session taking place on October 12 with candidates seeking the Carbon County Commissioner Surveyor seat. Those hopefuls are John Jones, Tony Martines and Melvin Coonrod all of whom will be answering questions submitted by voters. Any individual who wish to submit a question may do so by emailing election2018@koal.net. Keep in mind that not all questions will be presented due to the number of candidates and time restrictions.

There are a few ways for voters to be a part of this event by either listening live on KOAL AM 750 or FM 107.3 or access the live stream at www.KOALitv.com, both of which may be accessed through our website at www.castlecountryradio.com. A more personal way to listen to the candidates’ is to attend the event in person by visiting the Utah State University Eastern Alumni Room inside the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center.
