The Wellington City Police Department would like to notify their residents of an anticipated power outage. This is scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 8 starting at 11:00 pm till Friday, August 9 at 7:00 am in order to make repairs to a damaged power pole and electrical system at 100 East Main Street.

The exact map of the power outage is not known but if residents live in Wellington and/or in the surrounding area are asked to please plan on this outage. Residents are encouraged to make necessary arrangements for home, healthcare, personal needs, and travel before the power outage. Rocky Mountain Power said it may be finished earlier than 7:00 am but want everyone to plan for the full time.
