
Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and longtime friend, Kenna Naoma Lee Mutz, 82, passed away peacefully July 23, 2020 with Kevin, Lori and their families at her side.
She was born January 19, 1938 in Price, Utah to Clifford Clark and Olive Louisa Russell Lee. Married Marvin J Mutz, January 25, 1957 in the Manti Temple. Kenna and Marvin were blessed with four children, Jerry, Kevin, Lori and Danny. Danny and Marvin both preceded her in death.
Kenna was a lifelong resident of Carbon County and a graduate of Carbon High School. She was a tireless worker who was employed at R & C Drug, Luigi’s, Mont Harmon Jr. High as a lunch lady, as a pharmacy tech at numerous stores in the area and her favorite was working alongside Marvin at the Wedge Wood Villa as an administrative assistant.
Kenna was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many callings, including Relief Society president and Primary president. She was a very proud and honored member of the Castleview Hospital Auxiliary (Pink Ladies) where she touched the lives of many. Kenna and Marvin enjoyed their jamborees with the Coal Country Square Dancers and kicking up their heels with Marvin’s family at the Slovenian Home. She loved dancing and camping with her family and friends. Kenna loved her family and she cherished the memories she shared with them.
She is survived by two sons, one daughter and their spouses, Jerry (RaeLene) Mutz, Lindon, Kevin (Nola) Mutz, Houston, TX, Lori (Randy) O’Neil, Ferron; sister, Jessie Peterson, Wellington, brother, Art Lee, Florida; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Kenna was preceded in death by parents, husband, Marvin J Mutz; son, Danny Lee Mutz; grandson, Nathan Anderson; great-grandson, Archer Marvin O’Neil; four sisters and four brothers, Shirley, Dorothy, Thelma, Cora, Blake, Clark, Harrison and Terry.

Graveside service, Tuesday, July 28, 2020, 11:00 a.m., Price City Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friends are welcome to join the family directly at the cemetery and it’s encouraged for everyone to please wear masks.
