
Emery soccer got back on the field on Thursday afternoon and welcomed the Parowan Rams to Castle Dale. The Rams put up three goals in the first half then added two more in the second, giving them the 5-3 victory.
The Spartans are coming off of a loss at the hands of Juab 6-1. It’s really been an up and down so far for Emery as they now sit at 1-4 on the young season.
For the Rams Lina Biasi led the way with two goals. Karlee Wood, McKenna Murphy and Mia Townsend each had a goal to round out the scoring.
For Emery Senior Alexis Winter scored two goals in the loss and junior Nya Parkins added one.
The Spartans will now travel to take on the Millard Eagles on Thursday August 27. The Eagles currently sit at 3-3 on the season.
Emery’s next home match will take place on September 3 at 4 p.m. when they face the South Sevier Rams as they open the region portion of their schedule.
