The Emery Spartans are gearing up for the winter high school sports season, which is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Nov. 10.

The winter sports season will feature boys and girls basketball, drill team, swimming and wrestling. The swim team will participate in the first three events of the new season, hosting its first meet on Nov. 10 against Carbon, Wasatch Academy and South Sevier.

The boys basketball team will begin the season on Nov. 18 at home against American Leadership Academy in a non-region tilt. Other key dates on the schedule feature a trip to Carbon on Feb. 5 and a home game against the Dinos on Jan. 15. The Region 12 opener will take place Jan. 8 at home against Richfield.

The Emery Lady Spartans will begin the basketball season on Nov. 17 at home against the Delta Rabbits. League play will begin for the Lady Spartans on Jan. 7 against the Richfield Wildcats on the road.

Emery’s wrestling team will open up the season on Nov. 25 at home against the Manti Templars. The team will then head on the road Dec. 1 against the Richfield Wildcats.
