The Carbon Dino tennis team was on the road again to face Maeser Preparatory Academy in Lindon on Tuesday. The Dinos have had some struggles of late and it seems they continued as they fell 3-2.

The Dinos are coming off a loss last week to Juab 4-1.

In the match with Maesar, Lindsey Snow had the only singles victory defeating Madilee Gulbrandsen in straight sets 6-0 and 6-1. In other singles action, Lizzy Blackburn lost 6-2 and 6-1 in her match with Kelsey Ortega and in the final singles match it was Maeser’s Mia Parkinson over Audrey Hatch 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles action Alyssa Ellis and Ella Anderson dropped their match to Megan Grant and Clare Perkins 6-2 and 6-2  and the second singles team of Kaydance Scovill and Laurie Parry won their match against Sam Howard and Noureen Salah 6-1 and 6-3.

There will be a quick turnaround now as the Dinos are back on the road Wednesday in Manti to face the Templars.

The Dinos will be back on the courts in Price on Aug. 31 when the San Juan Broncos come to town.
