Bodie Salas took care of business in Richfield on Wednesday, helping the Carbon Dinos take the second spot behind the Wildcats on their home course, Cove View. Carbon has been following Richfield in every tournament so far this season as the Wildcats are building a huge lead over the rest of the field.
Richfield claimed the top spot putting up a 304. Carbon took the second at 336. Emery, Canyon View and Grand rounded out the field.
The match this week at Cove View did not count towards the final season standings since there will be another match later in the season on the course. It did go down as a great round for Salas however and helped him to set the pace for the rest of the team. Along with Salas’ 69, Branden Scovill and Daren Garner both carded an 86. Cameron Jones put up a 95, Ridge Butler a 99, Cole Yoklavich a 100 and Derek Stead posted a 105.
Up next for the Dinos is a date on their home course September 2. The match will begin at 10:30 a.m..
