Our beloved son, brother, uncle and special friend, Jason Kyle Gunderson, age 50, passed away in the loving arms of his mother on Friday, April 21, 2023 in Huntington.

Our little buddy was born May 24, 1972 in Price, Utah to Bennett Ray and Sandra Earl Gunderson.  Jason was his parent’s pride and joy, and no matter where he went, Jason was welcomed as one of the guys.  He loved spending time with his parents and no matter what project Bennett Ray or Sandra were working on, you could bet that Jason was helping.  Jason loved his time at the Castle Valley Center and for the past two years he enjoyed his Rise family in Price.

Our little man had many hobbies, however, he especially loved starting the cars and kicking back and listening to the radio.  Jason touched the loved lives of all and he will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving mother, Sandra Gunderson, Huntington; brother, Shawn Gunderson, St. George; nephew, Zachery; niece, Shantelle (Thomas) Liddiard; great-niece, Taylor; and two great-nephews, Dillon and Donavon.

Jason was preceded in death by his loving father, Bennett Ray Gunderson; and his beloved grandparents.

Graveside services for Jason will be held, Thursday, April 27, 2023, 11:00 a.m., Huntington City Cemetery.  Family will receive friends at Miller’s Landing (Mitchell Funeral Home-123 North Main Street) in Huntington Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. prior to the graveside.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Huntington and Price where friends are welcome to share memories of Jason online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
