
Dale Norman Krueger, Army veteran, passed away at home in Castle Dale, Utah, Wednesday, March 27, 2024 after a long illness. He was 71.
Dale was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on March 22, 1953, to Norman Carl and Lorraine Idella Northagen Krueger. He was the oldest of three children and a bit of a wild child, until joining the military in 1982. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith at Saint Andrews Lutheran Church on May 10, 1953, and later confirmed on May 12, 1968, at Christ the King Lutheran Church.
During his life he was a bit of a jack of all trades, doing everything from working on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, to canning brine shrimp out of the Great Salt Lake.
He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Northagen Krueger of Castle Dale, Utah; daughter, Jessica Krueger of Castle Dale, Utah; sisters, Patricia (Scott) Tucker of Orangeville, Utah, Julie (Kurt) Miller of Layton, Utah; nephews, Shane (Jeanette) Brett of Wyoming, Chad (Stephanie) Brett of Utah, Jesse Corneilson of Missouri, David Corneilson.
Dale was preceded in death by his father, Norman Carl Krueger; wife, Judith Krueger; grandparents, Walter and Dora Plantiko Krueger, George and Julia Olson Northagen; nephew, Patrick Corneilson.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in his honor to the military charity of your choice.
