Linda Kell was born in Price, Utah on January 8, 1953 to Rita and Clive Kell. She passed away on June 18, 2024 in a care facility near Denver, Colorado.

Linda grew up in Price and attended local schools in the area and later graduated from Carbon High School. She then went on to graduate from the College of Eastern Utah. Linda moved to the Salt Lake City area to work and to play. After living there for a while, she decided to move to Denver, Colorado. There she worked and attended school. At that time, she went on to graduate from Metro State University.

Linda became a teacher and taught in the Cherry Creek School District for ten years. She taught special education and loved her students and the job.

Outside of work, Linda had several interests. Not the least of which was reading. Her home resembled a well-stocked library. She read for enjoyment, but she also read to learn about life and especially how she could become an even better person.

Linda also loved to travel; and travel she did to many beautiful and exotic places around the world. When she was not teaching, reading or traveling, she enjoyed putting her green thumb to work.

She is survived by her sister, Renate (Gary) Tomsic; niece, Heidi (Jose`); and nephew, Jason (Sarah).

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Clive; her mother, Rita; her Oma Adele; and her husband, Bill.

Linda was very generous. She cared for others and supported many programs and projects. That is why, instead of flowers, she asks that her friends make a donation to a breast cancer research project.

Graveside Service, Friday, June 28, 2024, 11:00 a.m., Cliffview Cemetery (1600 East 800 North) in Price. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Linda online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
