The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce would like to introduce its new Executive Chamber Director, Allison Preston. She has been hired to take the position of Deserae Stevenson as she will be leaving after three years with the chamber.

“I’m originally from Clearfield, Utah – born and raised. I married a local Carbon County guy, Austin Preston and we have been out here for about the last ten years now, so I’ve been part of this community,” said Preston. “For about the last six years I ‘ve actually been a Store Leader over at Maurice’s, as well as I have done five years with USU Eastern. I do have a lot of event planning, fundraising, sponsorship, all that kind of things under my belt.” She is looking forward to bringing her expertise and ideas to the folks at the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce.

There will be a virtual event taking place on Friday, July 10 as Preston explains, “We have a training this Friday, in fact it’s a Google Training for anyone looking to get their businesses on Google. It’s going to be the 10th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. If you are interested in participating in this go ahead and either call our office at 637-2788 or you can email us at cccc@carboncountychamber.net and we can get you that link.” The training was originally scheduled to take place in March but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was canceled at that time.
