The Family Support and Children’s Justice Center has been serving the community for nearly 25 years. They offer services to families that need help in certain situations that may arise in their busy lives. Their location on Fairgrounds Road offers a Crisis Nursery and a family resource center.

One of the services they offer is the Family Support and Crisis Nursery. This service offers a place for you to take your child when you are out of options or just need a couple of hours to yourself. They also offer a crisis center and are available 24 hours a day. The center is there for you to use if you have doctor’s appointments, court appointments and even for things as simple as grocery shopping or other errands that you may need to run during a busy day. The crisis center is available and free to members of the community whose children are 12 and under.

The Children’s Justice Center is used as a safe place for victims 18 and under who have been subject to child abuse. The Center focuses on helping those that have been subjected to alleged sexual abuse, physical abuse or were a witness to a crime such as domestic abuse or drug cases. They also offer services such as mental health services and medical exams.

The Family Support Center can be used as a resource for parents to have access on the internet to research: parent education, child abuse prevention, different community programs that are available even help with items that you may need for infants , as well as clothing and supplies for school.

Every year before the beginning of school year they put together backpacks filled with school supplies as well as a clothing giveaway for those in need.

One of the greatest events they hold every year is the Annual Christmas Tree Regalia. Local business and organizations decorate trees and they are auctioned off to the public with all the funds raised go to the Center. Last years event was held on Main Street in Price and was a huge success.
