On November 23, 2021, surrounded by loved ones, Andy Curt Marchello, 39, peacefully returned to his loving Heavenly Father. Andy was born on August 16, 1982 in Price, Utah to Barney and Cindy Marchello (Fisher). He was the third of four siblings born into his family.
Andy graduated from Carbon High School Class of 2000. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the England London South Mission from 2002-2004. After returning home, he graduated with an Associate Degree from CEU. He met the love of his life, Erin Kellie (Smithson) Marchello in 2005, they were married on June 2, 2006 in the Salt Lake Temple. They have three beautiful children: Andrew Cooper (Drew) (12), Easton George (10) and Emma Lynn (9).
Andy worked as a UPS driver for nearly 15 years in the Carbon/Emery County areas and he truly loved the people he had the pleasure of serving. While growing up in Price, Andy enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, wrestling, little league baseball, basketball, and his yearly trip to Vegas with his friends. He maintained this close group of friends for over 20 years, and they were always considered family. Andy was known for his sense of humor and not ever taking things too seriously. He had a contagious laugh that if you happened to hear it, it would instantly bring a smile to your face. When Andy became a husband and father it became immediately apparent what his calling in life was. Andy was a hard-working family man, who loved his wife and stayed very busy with all his children’s various activities. He loved sharing his hobbies with his children. Despite his hectic work and family schedule, he always found the time to help anyone in need. Andy taught by example in his everyday life.
Andy is survived by his wife, Erin; children, Drew, Easton, and Emma; his parents and siblings, Rocky Marchello, Becky (Nathan) Shorts, and Kenny (Sarah) Marchello; his nieces and nephews that he loved to play with and tease, and they loved him, RJ, Julia, Jordan, Keaton, Alyssa, Allie, Tayler, Kolton, Kayla, McKoy, Trigger, and Kinslee. Also survived by “The Guys,” Calvin, Chris, Jeremy, Jared, Matthew, Rory, and Weston.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Curtis and Olena Marchello, Domenic Mele, and Glenna (Blaine) Marx.
Andy was known by many and loved by all. His family, a community of friends and neighbors will never forget his infectious smile and laugh. “Andy Pandy,” we love you and will ever hold tight to the memories, love, and things you taught us. There are not enough words to express how much you were loved, and how much you’ll be missed.
