The Pinnacle boys basketball team earned their fourth straight win of the season in a major fashion on the road in Dugway on Tuesday night. Holding the Mustangs to single digits scoring in each quarter, the Panthers took the win 80-20.

The Panthers started out the season going 3-0 and looking for that elusive fourth win to start the 2022-2023 campaign. Only once before had they began 3-0 and losing game four back in 2012.

Taking on Dugway Tuesday, the Panthers had both sides of the ball covered as they held the Mustangs to five points in every quarter, but were able to do whatever they wanted offensively coming out in the first scoring 27 points. By the end of quarter two they found themselves up 47-10.

The Panthers put up 19 in the third and another 14 in the fourth pushing the tempo and walking away with the 80-20 win.

Senior guard Jonathan Kessler had a great night for the Panthers scoring 17, while pulling down seven rebounds with four assists and three steals. Brody Howell added 15  with five boards, two assists and five steals and Cole Barton had 12 with six boards and four steals.

Up next for Pinnacle they will be on the road to take on Diamond Ranch Academy.

The Panthers are back home on December 7, to face Merit Prep Academy. Tip-off is scheduled for 7.
