This year’s Graduation Spectacular is going to take place at 8:00 pm on May 24 at the Carbon County Event Center. Castle Country Radio was able to sit down with Event Representatives, Easton Hardy and Ada Bradford to discuss all the details.

Graduation Spectacular is held at the end of school year for high school students to let loose and celebrate the completion of another school year in a safe manner. “So this year the main event that they’re having is the magician come and that’s been really popular in the past years so they decided to have him keep coming and they’re going to have a mega screen so that everyone will be able to see. Every hour there will be different activities like pickleball, cornhole, nine square, like a ton of different fun activities, they’re something for everyone. They’re going to have karaoke, if that’s your thing, like there so many different things that everyone can enjoy,” said Bradford.  There will also be a 3 on 3 basketball tournament against the Carbon County Sheriff’s Department.

Tickets for Graduation Spectacular will go on sale at the high school. “So you just pay one fee of $20.00 at the school, and that gets you into every activity at Grad Spec. The movie, all of the food, unlimited food, so many different activities that will keep you busy all night long,” said Hardy. The annual celebration is a big production with lots of businesses and individuals donating money and time. There will be live music to enjoy, food, dancing, games, opportunity drawings and a movie will close out the night’s fun at the King Koal Theatre.

If parents or students have questions about the event or if any businesses would like to make a donation, please contact Event Coordinator, Kendra Seely at (435) 630-7581.
