With deep sadness we say goodbye to Daniel Urrutia Mendivel, age 90, who passed away December 7, 2023 at his home in Carbonville, Utah.
Daniel was born to Efrain Urrutia and Luz Mendivel. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Organization.
He loved to make friends and made many acquaintances. His knowledge and wisdom are sincerely indescribable, which was needed to be able to successfully raise a family along with his deceased wife Martha Urrutia “ La India”; and make out of six little boys, grown men, who are respectful, god fearing, responsible, and hard working in every aspect of life
To his two girls (his Muñecas), he instilled the same values as the boys, of course… being women, they have been able to accomplish those same qualities a little bit better.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Belen Vega; children, Daniel (Romelia) of Spring Glen, Maty (Clay) of Montana, Sandra of Price, Mariano (Suelin) of Santaquin, Alejandro (Lorena) of Provo, Leonardo of Price, and Oscar (Alma) of Carbonville; Belen’s children, Carlos (Karina), Aide (Adan), Octavio (Carina), and Gustavo (Linzy), all of Price; also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Martha “India” Urrutia; and his son, Eduardo “Pachin” Urrutia.
Funeral services for Daniel will be Friday, December 15, 2023, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in the Cliffview Cemetery in Price.
